Representing affiliate Whitestone Power & Communications and Heritage NetWorks, network engineer Jeremy Austin will be attending ARIN 40 and NANOG 71 as a sponsored Fellow in San Jose, CA next month.

"It's an honor to be chosen as a fellow — a great learning opportunity." said Jeremy. He will also be attending a network hackathon held just prior to the NANOG meeting.

ARIN, the American Registry for Internet Numbers, manages distribution of Internet address space for the USA, Canada, and many Caribbean islands. Like its sister organizations worldwide, it facilitates member-driven policy development that contribute to making the Internet, and making the Internet work.

NANOG is the North American Network Operators Group, by and for the operators that make up the Internet — a forum for interchange of ideas. It meets three times yearly, and hosts a mailing list that is one of the most effective ways to stay in touch with other network operators.
