Located at the junction of the Alaska and Richardson Highways, Alaska's first modern and extant carrier-neutral IXP, HNIX (Heritage Networks Interchange, AS12049) was founded in 2015. Redundant 10G (SFP+) and 1G ports (copper) are available, along with private or public peering. Rack space, environmental controls, and generator and battery-backed power are available.
